Our Story...

Her Story

Natalie Lidgi is a baker at heart, doctor by trade, lover of all things domestic and makes the meanest apple pie this side of Martha Stewart. She is a SoCal girl living in NoCal, she's an American marrying an Israeli, and she's lived in the States all her life but will likely move to Israel to begin a life and family. Contradictions abound, but to her, everything, at last, is starting to make sense. Especially the part about being Mrs. Natalie Cohen.

His Story

Itamar Cohen hasn't been able to hold to a single topic of conversation for more than 30 years. As a young, ADD-ridden child, his teachers used to tell him that playing video games would lead him nowhere. They might have been right, except that Itamar's main pleasure in life is to prove others wrong.

As a skilled techie, he had a successful military career in the Israeli intelligence. During his time there he mastered the skill all Israeli soldiers try to perfect: the ability to get what he wants using only techno-babble and pop culture references.

These skills paved his way to the US, where he spent time as child. Becoming a Michigan Wolverine, Itamar proved he was also good at immigrating. But like the Beast from The Beauty & The Beast, Itamar was lonely. Also like the Beast, he was noticeably less physically attractive than the girl he fell for. Unlike the Beast, though, he did not need a singing-dancing clock-and-candle duo to win her heart. He just used techno-babble and pop culture references.
